TV - Radio AC/DC Plus Hand Crank Power Deluxe Emergency Information Center with Lighting. This unit has built-in automatic emergency bad weather notification. There are four ways to operate unit: Operates on 8 C batteries (12 provided), household 120 volt AC current (AC adaptor provided) vehicle 12 volt DC (Cigarette lighter adaptor provided), and the hand crank which provides back-up auxillary power to the built-in rechargeable batteries and wil only operate the radio and the LED light area. The portable TV and the built-in area lantern do not operate on the hand crank because of their power consumption. Color TV use too much power and are not feasible for portable emergency situations. The black and white TV has VHF and UHF capability with a telescoping hand directional antenna. Brightness, contrast and verticle hold adjustment knobs built-in. The TV recption is designed for the North American system only. The AM/FM radio uses the built-in antenna for reception for all area broadcast stations. In addition, there is a separate Envergency Weather Band Radio with and ALERT position and hazard alarm that momentarily sounds when the hazard alert is received from the United States Government Weather Bureau. While in the Alert or Lock position the Weather/AM/FM stations will function. The Weather Radio LED will light to indicate a "Locked IN" weather radio station. The built-in Lantern can be tilted up or down and is controlled by an ON/OFF trigger switch. Do not operate the lantern and TV at the same time when using the 120 volt AC adapter. There is a separate LED Area Light on the back of the unit controlled by the ON/OFF switch on the top of the lantern. This amazing and feature rich unit has a complete instruction manual in English and Spanish. Will provide almost every type of protection to a family. This unit is for the survival determined family.
