Are You Powered Up For Your Summer Road Trip?

August 26 2015

There are so many places for you to visit this summer, and so many experiences ahead of you! Don’t let your road trip plans be foiled by a lack of battery power. Before you take off, make sure you’re powered up!

Road Trip

Power up those tablets, phones, and laptops

The night before you head out, make sure you power up all your electronics to 100%. If you have a battery saving mode on your laptop it may never charge to 100% unless you tell it to. You and the kids will need to be entertained on your trip, and these electronic devices can be lifesavers! Consider stocking up on an extra laptop battery or external battery for power emergencies.

Make repairs before you leave

Is there a glitch with your smartphone that you’ve been meaning to look into? Does your laptop need a screen repair? Is your tablet losing power for seemingly no reason? If so, now is the time to do something about it! Get those repairs completed before you take off.

Don’t forget the power your vehicle needs

You know you need an emergency kit that should include Band-Aids, roadside assistance numbers, and more, but don’t forget about a flashlight and jump starter/ or jumper cables. And of course be sure to get the batteries you need to fully power your flashlight in the event you need it.

Power down your home devices

While you do need to focus on powering up the devices you’re taking with you, don’t forget to power down the devices you won’t be using. Why waste power on lamps, TVs, fans, and other items that don’t need to be running while you’re done. Power down your desktop computer, unplug the microwave and coffee maker, and take a walkthrough of your home to see if there are any energy-draining items that can be turned off.

Double check your camera battery

These days most people have smartphones they can take pictures on, but if you’re the shutterbug in the family and plan to bring an extra camera, make sure the camera batteries are in working order. Even if you have a rechargeable battery, you may want to bring a backup in case it turns out it won’t hold a charge, or if you cycle through the entire charge when you can’t get to an outlet.

At Battery Bob we’re proud to offer free shipping and an incredible guarantee on all our battery products. If you need a backup battery for your summer road trip, you can count on us to get it for you!

You actually make it seem so easy with your praeentstion but I find this matter to be actually something thatI think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me.I'm looking forward for your next post, I'll try to get the hangof it! http://pgyylxweeah.com mjcdnkfjql [link=http://komeioflz.com]komeioflz[/link]
