EVEREADY Lantern Waterproof with heavy duty 6 volt battery "Floating" type. This is a rugged indoor or outdoor lantern. I think so much of the practicality and quality of this light, my mom keeps one in her car. What I like is it can stand vertically for space lighting or horiziontal for aimed, directional lighting for work tasks in dark areas like under a vehicle or in an attic. We have provided this lantern to many homes in South Florida for hurricane lighting. Keep one of these in your wifes car, along with a good set of long jumper cables. I have found the plastic used by EBC can stand up to the Florida summer temperatures. If you need a replacement bulb call me: 800-824-4899 or my cell 786-543-5529. This lantern can use the alkaline spring terminal or the zinc chloride "Heavy Duty" (so called) type. Color may be different, EBC changes without notice.
